Pastor Tunde Bakare's Prophecies: "I have a fearful message for those who preach and those who embrace the message of prosperity without purpose in the Church..."

"... Those who love to have the pre-eminence in their Church, those who have become tin­ gods within the Church; those who have 'taken' over from the Lord of the temple and have become lord of the temple by themselves: God says, their time is over..."

I want to share five things with you...I'm beginning to put these things in perspective.

Three different times towards the tail-end of last year (first time in South Africa, one time in the U.S. and one time in Nigeria), by visions and revelations, God showed me that in year 2007, the first thing that would shock the Church that He is going to do is that He will purge His firmament of shooting stars.

Those who love to have the pre-eminence in their Church, those who have become tin­ gods within the Church; those who have 'taken' over from the Lord of the temple and have become lord of the temple by themselves: God says, their time is over; He is not only quenching their lamp stands, He is removing the lamp of the wicked...He is purging the firmament of shooting stars.

The first vision:
I saw a carriage in the territory of a ministry. The carriage was sent to take the leadership there away from the planet earth. The wife of the said man assumed that it was one of those gifts that they are sending to them (by politicians and all kinds of people) and she stepped into the carriage. And God said to me, "How about the husband, do you think your prayer can stop me from taking him away?.."

A letter went to the States, and, one of my sons in the faith' called me on phone. He said, "Sir, I have bad news to share I with you, but I want you to counsel me. Shall I go to the member of the Church of this man to tell them?" I said, "What is it?" he said, "The Lord said to me, 'Can your prayers stop me from taking this man away?" I almost fell; dead. Because, out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, a truth shall be established.

The second vision:
I saw a man of God preaching over the heads of people in a valley, multitudes of people. I didn't know how I got there and what I was looking for, but I went there all the same, and, I heard him announce: "The man we have been waiting for has come," And, he drew a whip and stretched it towards me and pulled me to himself. We both fell into a valley. People were watching over there, and he tried to man-handle me.

I said, "You do not even know that my entire body is made of iron; I will destroy you in two minutes if you do not desist." I've seen so many things; visions that are troubling my head...this is the word of the Lord for those who can still humble themselves: the Lord God Almighty is stepping into His kingdom, His Church and His house, and he is cleaning His firmament of shooting stars. Like a flash in the pan, you saw them last night, but you'll see them no more. Do not cry on that day, because you'd become a partaker of their son...

2. The Lord also said to me: "I will restore in my Church the unfettered ministry of my saints. I will anoint and empower ordinary people to do extraordinary works," God is going to take away the divisions in the Church between the laity and the clergy. There is nothing called pulpit ministry. And

He gave gifts to them. He gave some to be apostles and some prophets, and some evangelists, and pastors and teachers...so that His saint can fulfill their work of or ministry...You can manifest Christ right there, because, the anointing of God is coming upon you...No more spectator Christian. Housewives will raise the dead, little children will cure leprosy...in the Name of Jesus. God is restoring the ministry of the saints...

Go to every direction the Holy Spirit sends you. You do not need any permission to represent Him. He has made you His ambassador...

I don't know whether the Vice-President betrayed the President in 2003, but what is going on is nothing but manifestation or bitterness. But, it'll only destroy the one who habours it.

3. Prosperity preachers and Seekers in Church:
I have a fearful message for those who preach and those who embrace the message of prosperity without purpose in the Church; who think that God-ness is a means of gain...I saw a whirlwind rolling through the Church of the Living God, not only in our nation, but in the nations of the earth.

I said: Father what is this? He said, "Hurricane Prosperity. It is rolling like that because over the years, they have manipulated, they have told lies. Those that are doing righteous seem to be weaker, and they seem waxing stronger." The Lord says, "In the year 2007, I'm letting this hurricane destroy them. Many will perish by prosperity."

...It is easier to compromise than to live right...the life of a man does not consist of the abundance of the things he possesses. Greed for gain will take the life of its owner.

As the saints are being given the Kingdom to possess and manifest...so will the anti-Christ rise from the Church and, and they will use the tool of prosperity to deceive some or many. Daniel 8:15-25, "...he shall destroy many in their prosperity... " The prosperity of fools will destroy them. That goes for the businessman who thinks he can do shoddy things and he can get away with it. That season has ended. If you are going to be a saint, be a saint. If you are going to be a devil, be a devi1...because there is going to be a clear distinction from now on. Jeremiah 17: 11.

4. Concerning the state of insecurity in Nigeria.
I see the rise of a super cop. When I saw this vision, it was totally confusing...but the deeper I looked, this super cop was a woman. A woman of great influence, great authority, and she began to change the police force. As she was speaking to men, they were taking commands. And, the state of insecurity began to wane.

I said, "Lord don't understand this...why a woman? I do not know any woman A.I.G. that that will be of that stature." He said, “I allowed the state of insecurity for a while, but because of what I want to do, I am going to stop it. I am releasing the anointing of Deborah upon the Police force."...I began to study...Deborah means a 'bee'. Bee that stings or gives honey...to some she gave honey, to others, she stings them to death. Judges 5:...The days of corrupt super cops are coming to an end in Nigeria . It's a Deborah kind of officer that will bring the change.

5. Now, let me come to the nation of Nigeria.
Congratulations to those President elects and Vice President elects. Congratulations to men of goodwill that dare doing their best to steer the ship of the nation in the midst of confusion and horse-trading that is going on.

But the Lord sent me to you. So, as many as could take this message and give it to our President that, "The grave he is digging is about to cave in and [he'll] fall into it, because bitterness is much more devastating than betrayal."...this is what I hear from the Spirit of the Lord...

"Bitterness is worse than betrayal; betrayal is something others do to you. Bitterness is something you do to yourself." The hardest time to be gentle is when you know we are right and somebody else is wrong. It is when someone's destiny lies in our hands that we know whether we are gentle, humble or not. I don't know whether the Vice-President betrayed the President in 2003, but what is going on is nothing but manifestation or bitterness. But, it'll only destroy the one who habours it.

"Think not that you are going home with bitterness in May ,2007" says the Spirit of the Lord... As we gather together and I pray our prayers, get ready: this is what the Spirit of the Lord says to me concerning those who are manipulating the 1 power process in Nigeria, "What the wicked fears will come upon them," it is not your job to block other people's chances.

Let God be God and let man be man...It is at the risk at my life that I share these things with you today: Bitterness is much more devastating than betrayal. Prov 10:24: "What the wicked dreads will overtake him."(NIV).

Let's lift our voices unto God that our President and all those in power will be delivered from this strange spirit of bitterness, so that they do not spoil and destroy the landscape because of their ego. Nigeria will survive. Nigeria is not going to decline. Nigeria is not going to go down in flames.

If you think anyone would put this country into the extreme precipice of collapse and destruction, it is not going to happen, because of what God has planned and purposed.
